My win 7 computer no longer recognizes the two suspect cards and I took a chance on damaging the new card reader and confirmed that the new card reader still will not recognize the two suspect cards. I have now replaced the internal Roswell card reader on one of my win 10 computers and purchased a NEW SD card to use with my camera, All my computers now read the new card after it was formatted and video files were written to it by the camera. Guessing that both cards are damaged, I don't know why I initially was able to read both cards with my win 7 computer? I did remove one of the two SD cards from the Dash Cam while it was powered up, I am assuming that If I did it once then I may(?) have also removed the 2nd SD card while the camera was powered up so now I am Then I noticed that the power light on the Roswell card reader on my Win 10 computer was no longer workingĪND my win 7 computer no longer reads these SD cards. I had two SD cards that both came from a Cobra Dash Cam, I copied my vid files onto a network drive using my Win 7 computer but both of my Win 10 computer would not read them regardless of what SD card reader I used (they would never show up as I usually don't pull the trigger on a forum 'call for help' until I am am reasonably sure of what's going on and I was convinced that I had a Win 10 compatibility issue and am still not sure exactly what happened. I'm totally confused & embarrassed because I have corrected my problem by replacing hardware. Please let us know on the status of this issue. Search for the Camera driver in the list, right click on it and then select “Uninstall”. Click on “Device Manager” from that list.Ĭ. Press “Windows Logo” + “X” keys on the keyboard.ī.

I suggest you to Uninstall and Reinstall the Drivers for Camera.Ī.
